Townshend students have returned after experiencing a lively time in Istanbul in which they were engaged in heated deliberations, sharing their wisdom and enthusiasm in finding solutions to international problems ranging from oil spills, terrorism, corruption, cyber attacks, refugee crises, economic debt and other challenging issues. All our Townshend students did an excellent job at the ACI Model Government Europe conference demonstrating their creativity and leadership while expanding their knowledge in global affairs. As a result of their outstanding contributions, Townshend students were invited to several other international model government conferences.
Congratulations to our students Zaira Bulgheroni, who had the role of Italian Food and Agricultural Minister for receiving the honorable “Best Delegate Award”, and to Lina Mollaian, for serving as President and Chair of the Spanish Cabinet and Transportation, Technology and Communication Committee.
